國際暨兩岸事務處沿革與組織架構
在現今全球化、地球村的時代，拓展個人與組織的國際視野已成為一股勢不可擋的趨勢，身為教育單位的我們，更有義務培養國家下一代人才具備寬闊的胸懷與擁抱世界的勇氣及能力。基於此理念，本校於2007年2月成立「國際事務中心」，並於同年8月將其改為一級行政單位，專職負責全校國際事務之整合、規劃與執行。並於2011年8月因應業務發展，新增兩岸事務，進一步擴編為「國際暨兩岸事務處」。目前本處業務可分為國際與兩岸合作交流、國際學生服務及海青班事務及華語文教學等三大類。
目標及理念
為耕耘亞太學區、建立環球品牌，本處依據學校發展願景，提出下列目標：
一、營造國際化情境學習校園
二、培養師生國際觀、提升學術素養
三、建立國際教育夥伴、活絡海外友校學術合作關係及加強兩岸學術交流
四、招收優秀國際學生、完善國際學生管理及輔導
五、推廣華語文學習
組織架構及工作內容簡述
一、國際與兩岸合作交流中心：推動國際與兩岸學術與文化交流、活絡國際合作關係及國際招生事宜。
二、國際學生事務組：國際學生接待家庭、工作證、居留證辦理、國際生社團及活動輔導。
三、華語文教學中心：華語文能力檢定、華語文教學與輔導及中華文化體驗與推廣。
About US
The Center for International Affairs (CIA) at TransWorld University was established in 2007 and upgraded to the Office of International & Cross-Strait Affairs in 2011. The Office is responsible for all aspects of international and cross-strait education and exchanges at TransWorld University. The Office works with universities and institutions in and out of Taiwan in order to develop a faculty, staff and student population that has a beneficial worldview. TransWorld University is actively pursuing agreements and exchanges with universities and institutions around the world.
The responsibilities of Office of International & Cross-Strait Affairs include:
Centralizing all aspects of international and cross-strait education and agreements at TransWorld University: The Office will be the window to the world for the University and will be responsible for maintaining all agreements and programs with international and cross-strait colleges and universities.
Actively preparing individuals for academic exchanges (including conferences, projects and other items) with different international and cross-strait colleges and universities.
Strengthening the relationships between TransWorld University and current and future international and cross-strait sister institutions: The focus of the sister institution agreements will be with colleges and universities in Japan, South Korea, the United States of America, Mongolia, South Asia including Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Mainland China including Hong Kong and Macau.
Organizing and planning study abroad opportunities for current and future students along with recruiting international and Mainland Chinese students to come to TransWorld University for study.
Arranging international and cross-strait students and scholars to study and teach at TransWorld University for a short period (a summer or a semester).
Performing the duties of an International & Cross-strait Students’ Services Office, responsible for advising and assisting international and cross-strait students studying at TransWorld University.
Promoting Mandarin Chinese learning for international students at TransWorld University.
